We know too well the heartache of leaving our dogs when we go away, where will they go? We know how much we would want them to be looked after, walked, cuddled and loved. I’ve used TCDH now twice for my little sausage dog and I feel very lucky to have found them. I get daily photos, messages and videos (the time that goes into the videos is fab as they’re edited with music and they’re like mini reels!) and can see that he’s so happy and making new friends and loving country life! The care and attention that he receives is incredible and he even sleeps in a bed with some of the staff so his home routine isn’t disrupted (he is a very spoilt pup…). I couldn’t ask for more and will only use them now if I’m going away. For the first time I feel relaxed going away as I know he’s also having a little holiday and enjoying all the love, cuddles and attention he gets from everyone 🙂
I cannot thank TCDH enough for looking after our rescue Bella these last few weeks. The daily video and photo updates show a happy, playful and relaxed dog and I felt very comfortable knowing she was so well looked after while we were away.
The dogs really do have movie nights (as advertised on the website) and the video of this evening was probably the best proof of all dogs present at the time of Bella’s stay, being completely at ease in their surrounding.

Can’t thank Mike & Becky enough. Finn stayed with them for 12 nights and had a wonderful time. Mike took him out running everyday and kept us informed via Instagram and Facebook with great pictures and video clips, which really gave us peace of mind. Finn came home happy and very tired. We have been sending our now 4.5 year old cavapoo, Daisy, to the country dog hotel multiple times per year since she was 3 months old. It is it her home away from home and where we know she is happiest and safest when she is not with us. The entire staff of the hotel love and cherish dogs and it is always so wonderful to see their passion for caring for them from the numerous updates they send throughout Daisy’s stays. I could go on and on about how much we love Mike and Becky and the whole staff but just know your pups are in the very best hands when they are there!
We have an epileptic springer spaniel who’s a gentle soul and needs quite a bit of attention. Love him to bits, but wife and I needed just a few days away on our own after 3 years without a break.
We were very worried about leaving him, but had heard great things about this dog hotel, so thought we’d give it a try.
The hotel wants lots of information about any dog staying with them, and our lad has quite a complicated medication routine, needing 9 tablets at various times of the day, plus specific food amounts.
We needn’t have worried. When we arrived we were greeted by one of the staff (Sophie, sorry I cant remember her name but she was lovely), and then, to our utter amazement proceeded to tell us exactly how many tablets/ food requirement the little chap needs! All the staff had been briefed.
Not only that, but Rebecca texted us to ask if we would mind her taking him to her home at night so he had individual attention!
When we picked him up, he couldn’t see us but we could see him – he was all smiles walking with Rebecca and had obviously had a great time.
We honestly could not have been more delighted, and quite frankly if you’re considering putting your dog in a dog hot, all I can say is book them in here. Excellent, highly professional and also very loving, he will be back!
