Our VIP Service
The Country Dog Hotel offers a unique retreat experience for your dog unlike any other.
From the offset we offer a central London door-to-door chauffeur service for our guests on set days of the week. We can offer this service to and from other locations however this will be a separate arrangement and potential additional cost depending on location. For this door-to-door service we use our Land Rover Defenders where our guests can be clipped into the seatbelt with a harness next to a member of our team. Alternatively, we can provide a crate if you feel your dog would travel better using one. We wanted to ensure that all guests can travel to us in the safest of vehicles alongside providing high quality comfort with calming sounds of Classic FM whilst snoozing on a seat.
Once our guests arrive in Somerset (or check-in directly at the hotel) and after introductions to our current guests they can have access to all areas.
These are a few of the services our guests can expect to experience during their stay.
- Being able to relax in an 18 room Georgian Farmhouse that has been adapted to offer everything your four-legged friends could want and need.
- Having the choice of beds either by the Aga, on a sofa or perhaps on a human bed with one of our team snuggled under the covers.
- Having the choice of daily baked homemade dog biscuits from the Aga.
- The ultimate in pampering including the use of our dog spa with the additional option of a full grooming service at an additional cost.
- Able to leave the hotel and head straight into our secure fields without having to use any leads.
- Go on adventure walks and frequent some of Somerset’s top destinations including beaches, tourist destinations, tea rooms and dog friendly activities.
- We are able to offer care to dogs who suffer with separation anxiety as our guests are never left at the hotel alone.
- Ability to administer medication within reason when needed.
- Designated areas for our older and smaller guests when required.
- Daily individual play sessions and agility in our walled garden.
- Daily updates to owners with pictures and videos.
- A team of fully trained professionals in their field, working 24 hours a day to care for our guests.
- A 5 star licence in a home from home environment with the highest of insurances.
Looking after someone’s dog is such a huge responsibility, they are irreplaceable and part of the family and this is not something we take lightly. We totally adore dogs, and we know when they are in our care, they will have the best time and they are safe.
